Hi!

In the list of requested transfers please make 2 "MSG" coloumns: one for my massages and one for new or "not read" messages of skiers.

No one can remember or see on the amount of messages, wether a skier sent an answer/question to my request. If there is a not opened answer we see it better.

Thank you!
Elias

I can´t find how to take away my request. Now I get a lot of offers but I have already booked a transfer. It should be possible and simple to delete the request

To delete a request you jsut have to login with your user name / password and delete the request. All quotes will stop immediately.

Users of Ski Transfer Finder can delete any request at any time. As soon a request is deleted on Ski Transfer Finder the system does not send any more email notifications.

Requests will be auto-deleted as soon as they expire. Again once expired, no more email notifications will be sent.

There is not much else we should / can do - our system works like any other request for quotation system - if you don't need your ski transfer any longer, delete it!! It is also fair to transfer operators so they don't quote for nothing!!!

If you inadvertently "accept" the wrong offer, you cannot "unaccept" and cannot "accept" any other offers. You need an "unaccept" button.

Thanks for notifying us on the need for 'unaccept' button. we will try to find a good solution for this problem.

For the time being you can notify the airport transfer operator by email (which was sent to you) that you accepted the wrong transfer request. Once done you can login and accept the transfer request you wanted to accept in the first place.

The way Ski Transfer Finder works makes it difficult to 'unaccept' as email notifications are sent in real-time. But like I said we will try to come up with a solution.

I have used Ski Transfer Finder on a couple of occasions and I found your website very useful and got a very good deal on my last trip to La Clusaz.

Would it be possible to improve the email messaging and allow users to opt out of receiving a email for each quote?

HI THE FOLLOWING IS MY TRANSFER REQUEST NUMBER 11741

Sometimes transfer operators re-quote on the same request i.e they place a new quote for the same request to increase or decrease the price quoted. Each 're-quote' will trigger a new quote notification email but the total number of quotes will not increase.

This is the reason why you received 5 quotes by email but can only see 4 quotes on the screen. Only 4 ski transfer operators quoted, but one quoted twice.

Hope this helps

At this point email notifications can not be switched off by users. We will include this in our next release.

However, for most transfer routes you will only receive four to six ski transfer quotes, hence the maximum number of emails you receive will be very low.

As soon you accept a ski transfer request or your transfer request expires, no more emails will be sent by the system. You can also login and delete your request. Once deleted no more email messages.

We don't send any marketing messages via our system only quotes, user and password related emails. There is no risk of spam.

If a operator has quoted twice how will I know whick one to accept as I can't see any details of such

Operators don't quote twice, they might re-quote and over-write an earlier quote they made. The quotes you see are the quotes you got!

Email us on info@ski-transfers.com with your user details and we will check for you. This is a place to suggest improvements, not a helpline.

PLEASE add the option to go back when you press accept bid, because I pressed it accidentally and then I couldnt bo back and instead of having add comment just have message the company, its all a little over-complicated.

I have just accepted a transfer bid which was very competitive and extremely efficient. Thank you for this service, I have found no fault and it has saved me a lot of time trawling through endless websites looking for the best deal.

Hi i am finding the transfer request a bit confusing. I click on departure country "Switzerland" for Geneva airport but going to Chamonix (In France) it is not an option because there are only Swiss resorts, i think. What does departure Country mean then, because in fact Geneva is my arrival point? sure i am being stupid!

Cheers

Hello,
There is no possibility to go for a ski in Poland (there are also really good slopes and great ski resort Zakopane) We provide airport transfers from Krakow Airport to Zakopane (Tatra mountains) that is only 100km from the Airport, that's why i would like to recommend to add this destination to Your list.

Kind regards
Dominik

Might be useful to include a budget or prefered price range field to cut down on mismatched quotes? I was looking at costs for French transfers vs hiring a car. The quotes were all 3-4x the cost of a hire car for the week so giving bidders an idea of my budget may have helped?
